Hence my question is have anyone of you tried using packet capture on a M1? If so do say if you have faced any trouble. Another user said after using wireshark he couldn't ping localhost. They are having data rates higher than data frames. For example in a video I saw that it is capturing the packets but a lot of the packets don't even make sense and on top of that a lot of management frames are having data rates that are well above the legacy rates that they should have. Giving false positives and the data isn't accurate. But I saw online a couple of posts (some on reddit) that says it's malfunctioning. Nonetheless, I found out that there isn't any native support of wireshark on macbook so you gotta use rosetta2.

I recently bought a Mac Pro M1 which uses a wireless adapter with Broadcom chipset? I dunno if someone can confirm it would really help. Heya! I'mma wireless and rf geek who really needs tcpdump and wireshark to work with stuff.
